KKBC Fees
What does it cost?
KKBC Membership
Our KKBC Fee Structure for playing in HKBA competitions in 2024 are as follows:
Club Membership per season in HKBA competition:
- $350 (Year 1 & 2 Primary School Students);
- $360 (Primary 3 - 6 Primary School Students);
- $370 (Secondary Boys - Year 7-10);
- $370 (Secondary Girls - Year 7-11);
- Fees for Senior competitions including U21, Open Women, and Open Men on request here as competition length can vary from season to season as determined by the HKBA. Indicatively, KKBC fees for playing in HKBA are about $370 for a 19 week season.
Club Membership per season in Inner West Bulls (Ryde) competition:
- $370 (Juniors);
Club Membership per season in NSBA (Norths) competition varies from season to season based on the length of season as published in the NSBA local competition handbook.
Please note:
- These fee amounts are based on club membership fees for Season 2 2024 and are subject to change. This is because our fees are determined by the costs that we are charged by external entities such as the HKBA and our training venue partners. 2025 fees are yet to be determined as costs such as game fees from parent associations and training court hire have not yet been advised.
- All Membership fee amounts are calculated based on the competition that the player participates in.
- Players playing in a second team are required to pay a full second membership fee.
Club Membership covers the cost of team registration, court fees, training venue hire, and club administration costs. By accepting your place in a KKBC team you are accepting that you are responsible for the payment of the full seasons fees and agree to the all terms and conditions or the relevant Association and Governing body. Playing in your first game is considered to be acceptance of your place in a KKBC team.
If you choose to withdraw from a team you are responsible for payment of the full season’s KKBC fees. The KKBC Committee may at it’s discretion, choose to accept part payment if there are genuine extenuating circumstances presented for withdrawal (such as injury, illness, etc).
HKBA/BNSW Membership.
- KKBC fees do not include Association /Basketball NSW Membership. Association/BNSW membership is entirely seperate and includes your insurance. It is a condition of participation that all players, coaches, team managers and any officials must take out Association/BNSW membership. Each individual Association that we participate in, (HKBA, NSBA, IWBBA). has differing methods of managing this process.
